I’ve won an AWARD for one of my paintings from the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts! 
(see image below called Wonderful Wanders).
The exhibition opening and awards ceremony took place on Thursday 2 May. I was lucky to have some amazing friends and enduring support crew there to cheer me on during the surprise announcement.
Receiving recognition from such a prestigious arts organisation is an immense honour, and I'm still buzzing from it all. It's a beautiful reminder (in general) that following your passions and staying true to yourself can lead to unexpected and wonderful opportunities.
A couple of my pieces are currently on display there as part of their Autumn exhibition running until May 26th.
