I want your painting to reach you safely and in beautiful condition. This policy applies to original paintings purchased directly from alexdimercurio.com.

Shipping for original paintings

Delivery is included for original paintings shipped to destinations available at checkout. There is no separate delivery charge for an eligible painting purchased directly from this website.

Your painting will be carefully packaged and sent by a tracked, insured delivery service. I will send you the tracking details once it has been dispatched. Preparation and delivery times vary by painting and destination; if an issue is likely to delay your order, I will contact you.

Please check that your name, delivery address and contact number are correct at checkout. If you notice an error after ordering, contact me as soon as possible so I can try to correct it before dispatch.

International deliveries

International delivery is available only to the destinations offered at checkout. Import duties, taxes or customs charges may be payable in your destination country. These charges are not included in the purchase price and are the recipient’s responsibility. Customs procedures can also affect delivery times.

Shipping documents will accurately declare the painting’s purchase value.

Studio collection and local delivery

If you would prefer to collect your painting from my Wellington studio, or discuss local delivery within the Wellington area, please contact me before purchasing so we can agree on arrangements.

Gallery and exhibition purchases

A painting purchased through a gallery or exhibition follows the selling gallery’s or organiser’s shipping and collection arrangements. Please contact them directly for those details.

If something goes wrong

If your painting arrives damaged, please keep the packaging and contact me as soon as possible with your order number and photographs of the painting and packaging. I will help assess the issue and discuss the appropriate next steps. This policy does not limit your rights under applicable consumer law.
