Shipping policy

Our team is small and dedicated to the shipping of your order/s as soon as possible.  

Your items/s will be sent via a third party shipping company and tracking information will be provided to you. You will also be able to track your parcel on our site.

Please be mindful that we cannot control world events that may impact shipping, the information here is provided as a helpful guideline and not a guarantee. Shipping policies will be dependant on the individual carrier’s policies. Please check these on your tracking information before contacting us.

Prints:

Standard shipping for Australia, EU & USA - Please allow 4 - 7 business days for your purchase to arrive to you once you have received your tracking number.

Standard shipping for New Zealand and rest of world - Please allow up to 10-14 business days for your purchase to arrive once you have received your tracking number.

Express / Expedited shipping for New Zealand - Please allow 4 - 7 business days once you have received your tracking number.

Original paintings:

Orders for original paintings will be charged based on the weight and size of the painting and calculated at checkout, unless they qualify for free shipping. This also includes sturdy packaging and insurance, which is outsourced to a reputable art-specific New Zealand transporter.

Please allow 1 week to receive a tracking number and between 2-3 weeks after for your original painting to arrive to you from New Zealand.

Double check your shipping address and details:

Alex DiMercurio Art is not responsible for undelivered packages based on incorrect shipping addresses or phone numbers given by the customer. Please ensure that you provide the complete and correct mailing addresses, names and contact phone number at the checkout.

DUTIES & TAXES

Duties and/or customs charges may apply to your shipped item/s. This varies by country, and you are responsible for paying this amount when you receive your parcel. 

Any applicable taxes and duties are not included in the checkout total. These are determined by the customs agency in the destination country. Some countries charge import taxes, while others do not. The customs agency will notify the recipient either by mail, phone, or email to pay these charges, so that the shipment can continue to its destination. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any duties, value added tax or other similar charges. 

The artists studio is operated in Wellington, New Zealand and is not liable for import fees on any products purchased. This includes but is not limited to the commissioning of a custom piece, originals and merchandise.

Declared value:

Items are declared at purchase value for exporting and under no circumstance will documents be falsified. This is to ensure that any shipping insurance is not void.
