An original, one-of-a-kind painting from my Clouds Over Seascapes series exploring the theme Chasing Light Across Horizons.
This richly textured abstract cloudscape captures the dramatic lift of parting and varied cloud forms as wild weather clears, revealing the vibrant glow of sunset.
It evokes that fleeting hour just before nightfall, when the last rays of sunlight refract through moody, darkening clouds suspended above the horizon.
Created with expressive impasto layers using a range of palette knives over a fluid, intuitive underpainting, this piece blends structured abstraction with the emotional realism of nature's shifting skies.
Medium: Acrylic and marble dust on stretched canvas.
Sealed with two coats of UV-protective varnish, signed on the front, and stamped, named, and signed on the back again.
Comes with a certificate of authenticity and ready to hang.
Sits in a beautiful modern Oak floating tray frame.
