A moody sunrise moment, captured in bold texture and luminous colour.
Inspired by Whangamatā Beach at low tide. Clouds lifting, light spilling across mirror-still water.
That magic hour when sea and sky become one, and the world feels brand new.
Built with rich impasto palette knife over fluid underlayers, this piece dances between abstraction and reality. A celebration of morning calm and coastal light.
Premium acrylic on stretched canvas, framed in a removable wooden tray frame.
Sealed with two coats of UV-protective varnish, signed on the front, and stamped, named, and signed on the back again.
Comes with a certificate of authenticity and ready to hang.

As I write this I am standing in front of our fire and admiring the painting - it brings a smile to my face every day, and always garners comments when art lovers come to visit. We could not be happier! Our piece sits proudly in our living room and instantly transports me back into the mountains.
