An original, one-of-a-kind painting from my Clouds Over Seascapes 2025 series.
Exhibited in Antibes, France October 2025 with the Association d'Amis du Musée Picasso and excitingly was awarded a Diplôme D'Honneur (Merit Award).
This richly textured abstract cloudscape captures the dramatic lift of parting and varied cloud forms as wild weather clears, revealing the vibrant glow of sunset.
It evokes that fleeting hour just before nightfall, when the last rays of sunlight refract through moody, darkening clouds suspended above the horizon.
Created with expressive impasto layers using a range of palette knives over a fluid, intuitive underpainting, this piece blends structured abstraction with the emotional realism of nature's shifting skies.
Premium acrylic painting on stretched canvas.
Sealed with two coats of UV-protective varnish, signed on the front, and stamped, named, and signed on the back again.
Comes with a certificate of authenticity and ready to hang. Unframed.

As I write this I am standing in front of our fire and admiring the painting - it brings a smile to my face every day, and always garners comments when art lovers come to visit. We could not be happier! Our piece sits proudly in our living room and instantly transports me back into the mountains.
